YP Hevea Sdn Bhd and Malaysia Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF) and Universiti Putra Malaysia have established a 5 kilometer wildlife corridor connecting Tekai Tembeling Forest Reserve to Taman Negara. The wildlife corridor under the central forest spine master plan allow conservation effort by sustaining the remaining wildlife. There are more than 50 Elephants, tigers, panther, sun bear and other animals that uses this corridor. The Return on Value (ROF) is applied for this project. For this case, forest tree species in Elephants dung will grow along at the wildlife corridor, and interchange between the two forest reserve. These forest tree species can then be used by collecting the germinated seed, and then be transferred to other forest reserve or HCV area.
